Crossover's bitch


Eagle Vision belongs to my top ten list of favorite clamp characters. He even hold a special place in my heart because I didn't read RG Veda at that time and was very impressed with the way he was caring his will. Maybe because I don't usually stick to my resolutions but I felt that his strong will was something special. On contrary of other heroes, his determination wasn't not only describe as something positive and it also had negative consequence over the story.

I love his inner drama queen and how a failed relationship between two teenagers ended up in a nationalistic rally for the pillar position. Because Lantis left the country AND broke up with him, Eagle was enough desperate to throw away his life. Yeah of course he was ill, but instead of leaving his last days with his friends and family he chose to act like a tragic Mary "Nya nya nya I will save my boyfriend anyway because I'm in luv" Sue

His story has an emo feeling you can't really shake off. He wanted to save the world, his world, his ex-boyfriend, his ex-boyfriend's land and failed. End of the story.
And just when you think it couldn't be worse than having a terminal illness and being in a coma, you realise you are in a vegetative coma and that you can hear the former boyfriend trying to seduce a twelve years old airhead from Tokyo. It's pathetic, sad and comedy gold at the same time ...

I remember being sad with how MKR 2 ended. Not only Eagle and Lantis didn't get back together but Lantis wanted to be Hikaru. Bummer.


By the way it was a very nice touch that TRC!Eagle Vision was obsessed with Sakura's eyes and determination because that's exactly how MKR!Eagle Vision was with Hikaru. Hopefully this time, it won't end with someone in the coma.
